1. Purpose
The Content Contribution, Moderation, and Approval (CMAP) Policy establishes guidelines for managing content submission, review, and publication on the official platforms of the Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Center (SAIC), IASST. The policy ensures content accuracy, quality, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all digital content submitted to SAICβs website (saiciasst.in) and other official communication channels, including but not limited to:
- Technical guidelines and SOPs
- Instrument usage data
- Multimedia content (images, videos, presentations)
3. Content Contribution Process
Authorized contributors, including researchers, faculty, and administrative staff, may submit content through the designated submission platform. The process includes:
- Submission of content with relevant metadata and author details.
- Preliminary validation by the designated content coordinator.
4. Moderation & Review
All submitted content undergoes moderation to ensure alignment with institutional guidelines. The review process includes:
- Fact-checking and validation by subject matter experts.
- Compliance check with regulatory standards.
- Editorial review for language and presentation.
5. Approval & Publication
Upon successful moderation, content is approved by the designated authority and published as follows:
- Official website updates managed by the web administrator.
- Research publications archived in the institutional repository.
- Announcements and news updates released on the communication channels.
6. Roles & Responsibilities
- Content Contributors: Responsible for providing accurate and relevant content.
- Content Coordinators: Oversee initial validation and submission tracking.
- Review Committee: Conducts fact-checking, compliance, and editorial review.
- Approving Authority: Grants final approval before publication.
- Web Administrator: Ensures timely updates and archival of published content.
7. Compliance & Review
The CMAP Policy shall be reviewed annually to align with evolving institutional and regulatory requirements. Non-compliance may lead to content removal and corrective actions.
